Opening

(The Rift stage is seen in its normal form, the only thing out of the ordinary is a bush in front of the main door. After a minute of peaceful music a blue goblin pokes his head out)
Blue goblin: Attack!
(A red goblin pokes his head out of the same bush facing the other way)
Red goblin: Counterattack!
(The red goblin runs to the left, while the blue goblin runs to the right. A bugle plays. More goblins pour out following their respective leader. They pour over the edge and fall into the abyss. In a command room Cosmos is sitting in a chair holding her head in a tired way. Chaos is seen in the background stomping out the door with a displeased look on his face.)
(Scenery changes to World B map. The lower half is blue and the upper half is red. Cid's voice is heard.)
Cid: After the last cycle, (scene of Cosmos being incinerated by Chaos, then Chaos burning up at his throne) Shinryu was not pleased.
(Scene changes to an office. Shinryu is at a desk wearing a business suit and a monocle)
Shinryu: I had 35000000000 gil on Chaos. With that bad a loss I needed to make it up somehow. The most… amusing way was to make a basic war economy (Shinryu pulls up a blackboard with complicated symbols on it) concerning goblins, crystals, KP and of course gil…
(Scene fastforwards until it shifts back to map)
Cid: And so, the 14th cycle starts, with each side having an unlimited amount of goblins to replace the manikins, the world will never be the same.
        (Scene zooms in on the map to the Chaos Shrine. Scene cuts to the Chaos Shrine stage. At the throne the Warrior of Light is fighting off red goblins. Camera pans to the ceiling where Garland is surrounded by blue goblins. He swings his sword around, shifts to axe form and pounds the roof. It cracks, then falls, taking out the goblins facing the Warrior. As the Warrior watches the dust cloud, he suddenly raises his shield to block Garlands sword in its chain mode. Garland soon follows, clashing swords with the warrior.
       Scene cuts to a black background with II. The Pandemonium is then shown; Firion is leading a group of blue goblins through the halls, setting off various traps. Camera pans out, showing it is a surveillance crystal being held by the Emperor. He crushes it, and sends out a wave of red goblins to fight.
Another black screen with III on it. The Onion Knight is seen fighting the Cloud of Darkness in the World of Darkness. They trade a few blows, until the Cloud disappears into the floor. The Knight looks around until he sees her with a nearly complete 0-form Particle Beam. Sensing the danger he teleports out to the Crystal Tower. Seeing that he is surrounded by red goblins, he braces himself to fight.
Switch to a black card with IV. Cut to the Lunar Subterrane. An all out war is waging between the red and blue goblins… and in the center Cecil, Kain, and Golbez are having a picnic. They talk among themselves before noticing the camera, and then quickly start battling each other.
Black screen with a V. Bartz and Gilgamesh are having a duel in the Rift. In the middle of the fight Gilgamesh gets sucked into the Rift. Bartz is surprised, and quickly parries a blow from Exdeath, which has appeared behind him.
Black screen with a VI. Terra is on the Phantom Train with a group of blue goblins. They are trying to figure out a train schedule. Suddenly they are ejected from the train to Kefka's Tower. Kefka is there giving ballerina lessons to a group of red goblins, but quickly orders them to attack. Terra and her group prepare to fight.
Black screen with a VII. Cloud and Tifa are in the Planets Core. Cloud is leading the group, while Tifa and a group of blue goblins follow. Tifa is thinking about talking to Cloud, and the goblins egg her on, giving her presents to give Cloud, like Buster Sword oil and a DVD titled Watch Sephiroth Die Multiple Times in Embarrassing Situations. Tifa comes up behind him (without the gifts) and puts her hand on his shoulder. Cloud tenses up, then relaxes as he realizes it is her, but then he suddenly pushes her out of the way as Sephiroth does Hells Gate. Sephiroth rises smirking, but then sees the DVD. He then kills the goblin holding it.
Black screen with a VIII. Squall is seen fighting Ultimecia in the upper levels of her Castle, while Laguna is fending off goblins below. Ultimecia teleports away to the middle of the stage and transforms into her EX mode. She prepares to do a Time Crush, but is interrupted by Laguna's Satellite Cannon. Annoyed she teleports behind Laguna, only to be hit by Squall's Rough Divide. Laguna, overjoyed, raises his hand for a high five. Squall just looks at him, and leaves him hanging as he goes to fight goblins.
Black screen with a IX. Zidane is walking on the Prima Vista when he sees a crystal. Curious, he picks it up, only to be teleported to Crystal World, on the main 8-shaped platform. There Kuja is waiting, along with a red goblin holding a board saying Die Zidane: Act 1. On the other platforms other goblins act as the audience. Zidane looks around a bit, then goes into a fighting stance as Kuja rises into the air.
Black screen with a X. Jecht and Tidus are fighting in Dreams End. A group of bored red and blue goblins are watching. After a while a bell rings, and Yuna comes out in her gunner costume, with a card saying Round 4759-Draw. At the sight of her the Goblins all start cheering and whistling. Tidus and Jecht watch the goblins, and then look at each other. They slowly shake hands and head out to mutilate the goblins.
Black screen with a XI. Shantotto and Prishe are fighting red goblins in Empyreal Paradox. Suddenly two EX Cores reveal themselves. The goblins try to get it, but fail as the two warriors take the cores and simultaneously power up. The goblins stop, look at each other, and attempt to flee from the new flurry of attacks.
Black screen with a XII. Vaan is slashing through a sea of red goblins on the Sky Fortress Bahamut. He is trying to get to Gabranth, who is gathering mist into his body. He finishes and powers up, causing the goblins to part open a path to Vaan. They race to each other and clash.
Black screen with a XIII. Lightning is in the center platform of Orphans Cradle. She is fending off a large group of red goblins that are surrounding her. She fends them off then pulls out a summonstone and crushes it. Odin (FFXIII version) comes and performs a Zantetsuken cutting down most of the goblins. He then transforms into a horse. Lightning jumps on and they ride off. As the scenery blurs Cid's voice is heard again)
Cid: But as many things change, some still stay the same.
(Lightning stops at the field between Orders Sanctuary and Edge of Discord. She moves forward to meet with the other warriors of Cosmos. Across the field the warriors of Chaos band together. They then run to each other, as the screen flashes to these images.
The Warrior of Light, steadfast in his resolve.
Garland, reveling in the chaos of war.
Firion, standing firm against tyranny.
The Emperor, planning to rule all.
The Onion Knight, out to prove himself.
The Cloud of Darkness, overwhelming all in the Void.
Cecil, reaching out to his brother.
Golbez, turning away from the light.
Kain, doing what needs to be done.
Bartz, mimicking his comrades' seriousness.
Exdeath, engulfing all in the Void.
Gilgamesh, returning only to get trampled.
Terra, slowly gaining control.
Kefka, insanely destroying everything he touches.
Cloud, silently making a vow.
Tifa, worried about her friends.
Sephiroth, ever mysterious.
Squall, protecting his pride.
Laguna, getting a leg cramp.
Ultimecia, awaiting her time.
Zidane, hiding his insecurities.
Kuja, wanting to be the star.
Tidus, proving himself to his dad.
Jecht, wanting what's best for his son.
Yuna, silently sacrificing.
Shantotto, arrogant in her superiority.
Prishe, having a light snack.
Vaan, readying his anger.
Gabranth, amused by Vaan's effort.
Lighting, irked at getting dragged in.
Cosmos, crying at the thought of more cycles.
Chaos, submitting himself to despair.
Shinryu, thinking only of gil.
Cid, wondering how to help.
And far beneath the battlefield, a beastly demon stirs.
Feral. Chaos.
